IBM transitions-acquires AT&T managed hosting, application hosting business
AT&T will ‘transition’ its managed hosting and managed application operations to IBM. The two companies will continue to collaborate and consume each other’s services. AT&T gets out of business segments it is not prepared to focus on while IBM positions to capture a growth area that it considers strategic.
