South Korea’s KT Corp acquires Epsilon from Kuok Group
KT Corp (formerly Korea Telecom), South Korea’s incumbent telco, and Daishin Private Equity, a subsidiary of Daishin Securities, have jointly acquired 100% of Epsilon Telecom, a global data centre, connectivity and SDN provider, for US$145m from the Kuok Group (64% stake) and Stone Family (32% stake), including other minority shareholders.
