Broadcom rolls out new channel program for cloud service providers; reducing size of channel ecosystem
The Broadcom acquisition of VMware has caused a lot of havoc within the service provider channel in the last several months. Broadcom revealed earlier in the year that it was going to cancel the VMware channel program that serves cloud, managed infrastructure providers and MSPs, enabling them to deliver VMware-based infrastructure to end users in an as-a-service model. A new tiered program has been put in place that will replace the old program and participation is on an invite-only basis.
