Apple reported to have evaluated entry into cloud infrastructure business; would make sense given building blocks already in place
Some very interesting reporting confirms that Apple has strongly considered, and may well still be evaluating, entry into the public cloud infrastructure market. An internal project started a few years back called ACDC (Apple chips in data centres) would be the basis for the public cloud infrastructure service. More details below.
