Apple uses third-party cloud for first time; taps Google Cloud for private AI
Apple is taking its Private Cloud Compute (PCC) to another cloud provider for the first time. In partnership with Google Cloud and NVIDIA, Apple is running AI inference workloads in third-party data centres as it seeks access to compute capacity for its Apple Intelligence offerings.
