Meta reported to be building cloud computing infrastructure business; SpaceXAI template sign of opportunism or committed push into cloud?
Media reports indicate that Meta is pushing forward to build a cloud computing business that would sell cloud infrastructure services directly to end users. The development comes on the heels of the launch of Meta Compute earlier this year, and recent comments to shareholders by CEO Mark Zuckerberg that Meta would indeed consider building a cloud computing service, albeit with hints that it would be a bit of a backup plan.
