AWS switches off Parler; repercussions for the Internet infrastructure industry
In a string of developments that would have seemed unimaginable only a few years ago, Twitter and Facebook banned the US President, and AWS switched off social media site Parler, favoured by Trump supporters. Shortly before being shut down on AWS, Parler had its app removed from the Google and Apple app stores.
