The Netherlands puts a second moratorium into place for new data centre builds above 70MW
The Dutch government confirmed that it will impose tigher national control and stricter licensing rules for hyperscale data centres in the Netherlands and has put a temporary pause on approving new data centre projects for nine months while the new rules are worked out.
