Microsoft acquires Fungible with eye to enhancing cloud infrastructure in the data centre
Microsoft acquired Fungible, a vendor that builds hardware known as data processing units for separating computing functions in data centres. Microsoft picked up the technology with an eye to enhancing the capabilities and driving effeciency for the Azure cloud infrastructure platform.
